NEW YORK YANKEES LIMITED EDITION 100TH ANNIVERSARY PROOF SET. The Highland Mint presents the New York Yankees 100th Anniversary 3 coin Proof Set. The most successful franchise in Professional Sports history celebrates their 100th Anniversary. The Yankees 38 American League Pennants and 26 World Series Championships in their 100 year history make them the greatest! The Highland Mint commemorates this historic moment in Professional Baseball history with the minting of an exclusive coin set! This unique coin set features three 1.5” diameter coins minted in different precious metals and each is individually numbered to match in each respective set. Each set consists of; 24KT Gold overlay .999 fine silver coin (weighs 1 troy Ounce), .999 fine silver coin (weighs 1 troy Ounce), and an Antique solid bronze coin. The Front of the coin: Features the New York Yankees 100th Anniversary Logo. This design features the Yankees top hat logo with “100th Anniversary” listed over the top of the logo as well as 1903 and 2003 on either side. The Back of the coin: Features the Yankees NY logo and lists their 26 World Championship years. Below the years is an area where each coin is individually numbered. The coins are protected with foam rings around the edges and a clear capsule measuring approximately 2”. The set is presented in a Custom velour jewelry box measuring 7” x 4” and each is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by The Mint authenticated the coins Purity and Mintage. This set is officially licensed by Major League Baseball and is limited to just 1903 individually numbered sets!
